So using the desktop-version is no option for me. Are you working to sort this out? What can I do to get my files to this computer without having to piece it all together by doing lots of separate downloads? I agree, this message is lame.
When someone sends me some files, rather than giving me a 1 click access to the files, I have to add it to my dropbox, then have it autodownload, then remove it from my dropbox. Oh, then my drop box is full, so I have to empty it before I can add these new files that someone sent me.
So I can download it, so I can delete it from my dropbox. Did anyone find a solution to this? I have a Dropbox Pro account and currently have a 19GB file that I send to a colleague via a link because they don't have a Pro account.

You will receive a Leave site pop-up at the top. Normally, pop-ups make sense with a yes or no button. But here things are different. You are offered two options — leave and cancel. A regular user would think that the download for the zipped files will be canceled by clicking on the Leave button. So they click on Cancel. Pressing the Cancel button will stop the downloads. As strange as it may sound, you have to click on Leave.
Doing that will start the download process of the zipped files. Step 4: If the pop-ups are blocked, click on the Add button next to Allow. Step 5: Close Chrome. Then try downloading the files. Do remember to click on Leave instead of Cancel in the pop-up. Make sure not to pick your storage device that made you lose your files.
