I purchased the hard copy and installed the game now am waiting on a 16 to 18gig download on a update. Mine has been going for two whole weeks! If your game gets stuck wait 2 hours if it hasn't progressed after 2 hours then restart your download. I'm downloading on Xbox one and I'm on the update part of the download, will the controller disconnect screen effect my download?

If you're game takes under a day to download consider yourself lucky. So far for me it's going great. Also my friend told me that Xfinity is the best internet for online gaming because she can have a lot of people connected to it and it works well. I played it during the Beta, don't remember it taking so long back then. I just wanna play it. No excuse. No other MMO with large size takes that long to download and install.

This game is big enough and funded enough to fix that. I don't know what to do but wait it out. You should probably check your internet connection then. It shouldn't take that long, so either your connection is sub-par or you don't have enough storage which also sucks.

I am having the same issue the game is taking forever to install. It's download enough to where it says ready to start but if my controller goes off will it stop downloading? Took me around a little more or a little less than 48 hours on my Xbox but my wifi is crap honestly. Up to build , ESO had some files missing but doing a repair would fix this issue. I ran the game's Repair tool and it always said that there was at least one file that couldn't be accessed.

I tried to figure out which one but was unable to. I decided to uninstall the game then try to reinstall it. The installation process has 2 parts, the initial launcher then a secondary launcher, which will first install the Game Launcher and Uninstaller. I've tried running the launcher in compatibility mode for Windows 8 and Windows 7, but with an without Admin privileges.

Zenimax has apologised to fans and say the problems experience by some users is connected with their character types. A Zenimax statement on the subject reads: "We have identified the issue reported. As some have mentioned, it is only certain characters in most cases. Some players have reported being able to log into other characters on their account.

We sincerely apologize to those of you who are impacted. It follows the a report from the team that they were investigating a spike in connections problems earlier today. Therefore, we recommend players to try to download in off peak times, for example launch the download before going to bed, or early in the morning," the download guide from the ESO team explains.

The patch maintenance has been completed, the ESO support team have confirmed, with both the NA and EU megaservers now available to use. Details on what has changed in Tamriel Unlimited in the PlayStation 4 Improvements have been made to overall in-game performance, including the queueing system screen and some of the more common in-game crashes.

The invisible NPCs bug that has caused problems for many fans has started to be tackled, although the developers say that it is still an ongoing work in progress. This can prevent interaction with them and hinder progress in the game. It is often caused by an issue with the phase that the player character is currently in. However, as with the Xbox One update that was rolled out today, the NPC glitch will probably not go away entirely and may need a further patch to be per cent nerfed.

You can download the patch by logging off and logging back in to your game client," a post from the ESO team confirmed. In addition to improving overall in-game performance, the queue system screen has been revamped and some of the more common in-game crashes have also been addressed. This is an ongoing work in progress, and you may still run into an invisible NPC occasionally. If this occurs, please wait and the NPC should appear within 30 seconds.

Console players, meanwhile have been given a quick guide on what to do if you are an ESO Plus customer who hasn't received the Crowns that are supposed to be included with the game. Players who have waited longer than a day since purchasing ESO Plus on console and have not received the crowns included with the membership should contact our Customer Support team.
